Salicylic acid

Salicylic acid is essential in taking care of problematic skin with spots, acne or excess sebum. It cleans your pores and balances the production of skin oils!

Salicylic acid penetrates deeper into skin than AHA acids and has a bunch of benefits for your skin: balances sebum production, smooths the skin surface, cleans impurities and minimizes problems with spots and acne.

Zinc PCA

Zinc PCA is the zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (sounds fun, right?). It helps control acne and decrease sebum, which reduces oiliness, redness and skin irritations. It also helpy your skin maintain it’s hydration levels (moisture).

Cranberry extract

We added cranberries to SALLY because they have a gentle antiseptic and astringent effect. That means they help prevent skin problems and minimize the appearance of pores. They are also rich with polyfenols (antioxidants).

propylene glycol

Skin type

SALLY is formulated mainly for:
– oily, impure skin with comedones (closed pores) mastno, nečisto kožo z zaprtimi mozoljčki
– mixed, normal skin that’s occasionally problematic
– skin that gets oily quickly (which can cause outbreaks)

This cleanser is less suitable for dry or sensitive skin.

How To Use

Pour a small amount of powder into your palm. Mix with a bit of water and apply on moist face. Gently massage your skin and spend a bit more time on problematic areas. Wash off with lukewarm water.

We recommend you use it in the evening, 2-3 times a week.

We recommend you use SPF protection after SALLY (especially if SALLY is part of your morning routine).

How often to use SALLY:

– if this is you first time using salicylic acid, start with 2 times a week for 2-3 months (so your skin gets accustomed to salicylic acid)
– if your skin is already used to salicylic acid, you can use SALLY 4-5 times weekly.

Warnings:
– don’t inhale the cleanser
– don’t use during pregnancy
– don’t use on hypersensitive skin or if you’re allergic to salicylic acid
– don’t use on damaged or inflamed skin
– don’t use at the same time as other AHA acid (more than 10%) or retinoids (retinol, retinal) if your skin is very sensitive. But you can, for example, use SALLY in the morning and tother mentioned actives in the evening.
